With the establishment of Chosun Brewery, Korea's beer began

Made alliance with Carlsberg, which supplied beer to the Danish royal family, a great honor, and began to produce Carlsberg, providing one of the best beer in the world to the Korean consumers

Developed low-sugar, low-calorie, low proof (5%) super dry beer, which won great affection from the consumers as eased hang-over.

Again, developed a new type of beer, which was rich but mild, pleasing those who had been looking for milder beer.

Introduced a dark beer, which had a strong flavor inherent to black malt

Finally, Hite, a high-quality beer which was fresh and pure made of deeper than 100 meter underground rock bed water

The label was changed after five years from the product launch. This time, emphasizing the pride and honor as No. 1 Hite by using a shield-shape that symbolizes nobility. It was an expression of Hite's will to live up to its tradition and honor. The green character, HITE, remained almost unchanged to still emphasize the clean image of Hite, but the rest of the letters on the label became more simplified to command focus and attention.
The changes in the label were not just about a change on the surface. It was an expression of our pride and confidence in our product and a strong will to pursue even higher quality.
