Hite beer’s export to Japan will gain momentum. Hite Brewery announced that the company had signed a business cooperation between Jinro Japan Co., and Kawashow Foods in order to increase sales volumes of Prime Draft.
Kawashow Foods will use their sales and distribution channels in Japan to sell the third beer, Prime Draft, based on business cooperation. Also, Jinro Japan Co., who has extensive expertise and high company credibility, takes full responsibilities for import and marketing promotions. For those reasons, export sales volumes are expected to dramatically increase in the future.
Kawashow Foods is established in 2004 as an affiliate of JFE Steel, the fourth largest steel company in the world.
Hite brewery exported 4.8 million boxes (one box is equal to 350 ml x 24 cans), a new sales record, to Japan last year and the company expects to export around 5 million boxes to Japan this year. With forecasted sales, the annual sales of Jinro Japan Co., is expected to increase by 3 billion yen this year.
